1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using utilstore.tech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

UtilStore provides a collection of free, browser-based utilities including text formatters, encoders/decoders, calculators, converters, file tools, and productivity applications. The majority of our tools process data entirely within your browser — your data is not uploaded to our servers. We strive to keep the Service available at all times but make no guarantees of continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the Service.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you input into our tools. By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not submit sensitive personal data (such as passwords, financial data, or medical records) unless you understand how the tool operates and whether data leaves your device.

UtilStore is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. The source code is available on GitHub. This license does not grant you rights to use our trademarks or brand elements beyond what is permitted by the MIT License.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

  • For any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • To violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
  • To transmit malicious code, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.
  • To harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.

6. Third-Party Services

Our Service may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising providers. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of advertisements. 8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UTILSTORE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UtilStore and its team members from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property or privacy right.

10. DMCA / Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our Service constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with written notice containing: (i) a description of the copyrighted work; (ii) the URL or location of the alleged infringing material; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized; (v) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury; and (vi) your signature. 11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the updated terms on this page. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
